04 — Edge Synergy technology
Why it carves so well.
How it works
1Progressive sidecut radius
Tighter at the ends, so the board turns easily at low speed. Larger in the centre, which takes over as you pick up speed, for stability in long, fast carves.
2Sidewaves
At each foot, a very subtle bump on both edges, set just ahead of the inserts and rising only 0.5 mm above the sidecut curve. It gives more bite on very hard snow and ice.
3Progressive contact points
The sidecut curve meets the opposite curve of the nose and tail through a long, gradual transition. That gives more edge length gripping than on most snowboards.

Every Borealis splitboard is fitted with insert-style Phantom Hercules Hooks. The screws mount from the top into built-in inserts, so the base stays smooth with no screws showing, and the two halves lock tightly together for the descent.
Topsheet
DNA Textured Bioplastic Topsheet
A textured bioplastic topsheet that keeps weight down while giving the durability needed for demanding backcountry use.

Spinner Clips.

How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is calculated based on your location and the items in your order. Free shipping to EU countries, the US, the UK and Switzerland. You will always know the shipping price before you purchase.
When will I get my order?
We ship your order as soon as possible (1 working day). Once it has shipped, you will receive an email with further information. Delivery times vary with your location: Europe 2–4 days, USA & Canada 3–7 days.
What is the return policy?
Our goal is for every customer to be totally satisfied with their purchase. If this isn’t the case, let us know and we’ll do our best to work with you to make it right. The standard return window is 14 days in the original packaging. Please contact Borealis first so we can organise the return.
Will there be customs taxes?
None in France and the EU. Outside the EU (Switzerland, USA, Canada, Japan for instance), local customs taxes may apply upon entry on the territory.
