FWT veteran Clément Bochatay is primarily a big mountain rider, but he also enjoys end-of-season shredding, hitting side-hits, speeding, carving on the piste, and sending it big in the backcountry. This board was designed to fulfil his need for a board capable of:

• Maintaining stability at high speed in powder.

• Providing secure edge-hold in very steep and icy conditions (crucial for cliff take-offs and landings).

• Being versatile enough for everyday cruising on the piste and freestyle tricks when he feels like it.

We achieved this with the Alpine Pro Split. Its tapered directional twin shape is excellent for freeriding and maintains enough of a twin spirit to allow switch riding and landings. The precise and aggressive flex, hybrid sidecut, tweaked contact points, and Sidewaves keep Clément safe and locked in during high alpine conditions. The Alpine Pro is a technical big-mountain/freeride splitboard—but unlike similar models from other manufacturers, it remains versatile enough to enjoy the mountain in all its aspects.
