Borealis Alpine Pro Split 2027 | The Big Mountain All-Rounder

FWT veteran Clément Bochatay, a rider renowned for his big mountain expertise, needed a splitboard that could handle everything from bold backcountry lines to creative everyday shredding. The Alpine Pro Split 2027 is his answer. Engineered to be rock-solid on steep, icy slopes and rugged enough for heavy cliff drops, it remains remarkably versatile for natural freestyle. Whether you are navigating technical descents or hunting for fresh stashes, this board is designed to elevate your high-altitude experience.

Directional Twin Spirit & Powder Control

The Alpine Pro Split features a carefully tapered directional twin shape, offering the perfect synergy between freeride stability and freestyle expression. While the tapered outline and wide nose/tail provide effortless float in deep snow, it retains enough "twin" soul to make switch riding and powder landings feel natural. It is a precise high-performance tool that encourages you to treat the entire mountain like a playground, no matter how demanding the terrain.

Reliable Edge Synergy & Sidewaves

Confidence in the backcountry is non-negotiable. This model features our Edge Synergy Technology, combining a hybrid sidecut with refined contact points and our innovative Sidewaves. This system delivers surgical edge hold on wind-scoured ridges and frozen couloirs, ensuring you stay in total control when the conditions turn unforgiving. Paired with a race-grade DS4001 sintered base, the Alpine Pro Split is built for pure speed and absolute precision.

DNA Bioplastic: The Ultimate Wood-Grain Finish

New for 2027, the Alpine Pro Split features our cutting-edge DNA Bioplastic Topsheet. This textured surface showcases a magnificent, ultra-detailed wood-grain print that captures the organic soul of Borealis while offering next-level durability. This high-tech material is specifically engineered to be impact-resistant, significantly reducing chipping and scuffs from the skin track. It is a masterpiece of eco-engineering that looks as good as it performs.

Ultra Light Forest Core & 4-Year Warranty

Under the hood, the Ultra Light Forest Core keeps the weight to a minimum, preserving your energy for the ascent without compromising the board’s legendary dampening and pop. Built with Zero-VOC resin and sustainable materials, the Alpine Pro Split is as environmentally responsible as it is powerful. We are so confident in its rugged construction that it comes backed by our 4-year warranty—your guarantee of reliability in the wildest alpine environments.

Splitboard Magazine 2023 Alpine Pro Split Review

The Borealis Alpine Pro holds on to the throne of BEST BIG MOUNTAIN 2023 splitboard for yet another season. As a board developed to enjoy great big days on big mountains, the Alpine Pro is born from the collaboration with French freerider Clément Bochatay, and it clearly reflects what we can expect from a splitboard focused on riding big lines with confidence. Having said this, looking at its nose, we can see a much more versatile shape that we would have thought to begin with. Its directional twin shape- setback 20 mm-, traditional camber and rocker under the nose and the tail make up a board that performs really well in all sorts of terrains and conditions. The Alpine Pro is a super solid, stable board at high speed on gnarly terrain and irregular snow, a feature that would have you thinking mostly of big lines. However, it is a most polyvalent agile splitboard, which also allows you to approach the mountain in a more creative way. The Sidewaves -smooth disruptions along the sidecut, provide that extra control and edge hold, turning it into a perfect splitboard to ride the most exposed lines. Recommended for advanced riders and solid, aggressive riding. https://www.splitboardmag.com/products/splitboards/borealis-alpine-2022-23/

Whitelines Snowboarding 2022 Alpine Pro Split Review

Why we chose the Borealis Alpine Splitboard: An absolute workhorse in the backcountry for big days in big mountains. Reliable, durable, and insanely shreddable. Who Is The Borealis Alpine Split For? It was first designed as a solid snowboard in collaboration with Borealis team rider and Freeride World Tour athlete Clément Bochatay for the kind of descents that would shrivel the burliest of ballsacks. It’s a purpose-built big mountain charger, and in its split form it sets you up well for long days on the skin track and far-out alpine peaks, but the rewards aren’t just reserved for the furthest peaks – it’s a pretty great option for all manner of tours. https://whitelines.com/snowboard-gear/reviews/snowboards/borealis-alpine-split-2021-2022.html
